What To Do
Act out a simple, 2-part sound/movement pattern, such as clap hands, pat head; clap hands, pat head; clap hands, pat head. Encourage your child to join in. Vary the pattern with different sounds and movements, such as jumps, forward and backward steps, and so on). Also encourage your child to invent his or her own patterns for you to follow.
